Children’s Ministry
"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such
belongs the kingdom of heaven.'" — Matt. 19:1
Our children are not just the future of the church, they are a vital part of the church
today! At Word of God, we provide a host of activities, events, and service opportunities
to help children grow in their faith and in community with one another. We also seek to
support our families in fostering a godly home.
Ministry Opportunities
We offer Sunday School classes for K–5 during the school year and Vacation Bible School each summer. Throughout the year we also schedule fun activities to help children bond and fellowship — Easter Egg Hunts, roller skating, rock climbing, cooking, crafting, and much more! We also find meaningful ways for them to serve in worship services and in the community.
Through it all, it is our joy and honor to share with our children the love of Jesus, so they may know and follow Him.
